Nathan and I were skating one of my favorite spots in Franklin, TN and we decided to go a lil further down a road than normal and we found these Baseball Fields and they were sponsored by Cal Ripken who is a baseball hero from Maryland where I'm from so it felt super random.
When we got back to his place we wrote this. He had recently gotten a 2 channel cassette recorder and we decided to record directly to it. His mom had recently found and gotten him a used bongo from a church yard sale and we miced it with his AT2020 mic and laid the beat for the song and he had those guitar chords in mind and I plaid the synth and we played it live with the prerecorded bongos. This was then all printed in mono to logic lol but then I added a chorus on the master to widen it and make it have more a stereo feel which I think turned out nice. Good memories with this one for sure! Quick but a fun day.
